The Lord Binning Pub & Kitchen

Part of the New Moon Pub Company owned by experienced restaurateur Paul A Newman and celebrity Cheshire Chef David Mooney, The Lord Binning opened in August 2011 as part of their desire to revive the local pub as the heart of the community.

They recently relaunched in February 2014 as The BinninGrill with a brand new menu offering perfectly charcoal cooked steaks, fish and seafood.

New Starters include the piquant GUNPOWDER SMOKED SALMON marinated in a refreshing mixture of fresh chillies, coriander, red onion & lime with a slug of Hunters Cheshire gin, and served with brown bread (from Williamson's bakery) and Vimto dressing.

Main courses other than those from the new Grill section include pub classics such as Fish & Chips, Cheshire Chicken Kiev and slow cooked Lamb and Apricot Curry. Vegetarian diners can enjoy dishes such as mozzarella and toasted aubergine parcels or charred halloumi brochette.

As well as perfectly cooked rump, sirloin or chateaubriand steaks, the new grill menu includes special house burgers, piri-piri chicken and chargrilled tuna, rainbow trout and salmon. If you fancy a good mix of 'surf & turf', you might want to add half a lobster or some king prawns on the side of your steak.

All of their beef is British and is aged naturally over 32 days for fuller flavour. THE CHESHIRE RIDGE is a sight to behold - Prime Rib of English Beef served on the bone with stockpot gravy, béarnaise and pepper sauces and proper chips. (Feeds 4 guests , 24 hours notice is required.)

Expect a comfy modern environment with excellent service and fine quality fresh home cooking that illustrates the best use of locally sourced ingredients. They also offer a carefully sourced wine list listed in groups to help you choose and a range of great local ales.

This is a great place for families, children love a visit to the adjacent playground after choosing their meal from the special 'Little lords and Ladies menu' which offers delicious kid -riendly meals made with fresh quality ingredients.

The Lord Binning offers a number of events and special themed evenings throughout the year and even host an annual folk festival. It is also fully licensed for civil weddings.

Outside is a seating area for al fresco dining in sunnier weather and inside, customers can enjoy informal, relaxed surroundings, for an ambient drinking and dining experience.

Those with a smart phone can now download the new Moon Pub Co. app directly from Apple's App Store or the Android Market.
