Home > Things to Do in Cheshire > Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre
Voted Small Visitor Attraction of the Year 2008 at the recent Visit Chester and Cheshire Tourism Awards.
Set in 50 acres in the heart of Cheshire countryside, the centre offers everything for a perfect day out. Home of the internationally-renowned Cotebrook Shire Horse stud, the centre has been breeding prize-winning shires for over 35 years.
As well as the shire horses, there is a fantastic selection of British animal and birdlife, both wild and domesticated, including rare breeds.
Stroll around our nature trail and view the trout lake from above.
Why not walk around the centre and visit the farmyard and see large black pigs, friendly goats, sheep, cattle, foxes, red deer, hens, ducks, swans, turkeys and many more.
