A morning walk to blow away the cobwebs. Wrap up warm and explore Gatewarth and Arpley with their views over the Mersey mudflats. Bring binoculars if you have some as we take the opportunity to go wildfowl and wader spotting. Approx. 3 miles. Meet
A 9 mile walk including some of the most picturesque parts of the Mersey Valley Timberland Trail. Please wear suitable clothing and bring a packed lunch. Sadly this walk is not suitable for those with pushchairs. Meet at Car Park.
The Gritstone Trail, which now includes the former Mow Cop Trail, has been extended to make it more accessible by public transport.
