With beautiful parks and countryside, top visitor attractions and unspoilt villages, combined with industrial and commercial heritage and fine shopping, all providing something of interest for everyone.
The boroughs main town of Ellesmere Port developed when commercial trading commenced along the Shropshire Union Canal and later the Manchester Ship Canal and is now home to a busy shopping outlet and traditional market.
Yet to the west of Ellesmere Port are many rural villages, with Neston a bustling town and Parkgate, a popular 18th century bathing resort.
