Chester Zoo's award-winning gardens continue to plant colourful and attractive displays for the visitor to enjoy. On this special evening you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings on this after hour's tour; exploring plants, birds and butterflies. You will experience a touch of the exotic with a visit to our recently opened Butterfly Journey which is home to 500 colourful butterflies. This exhibit is the largest zoo based butterfly house in the UK and includes a stream, footbridge, butterfly friendly planting and an emerging case where visitors can watch the butterflies hatch from their pupae!

At the end of your tour there will be a delicious buffet waiting for you at Oakfield Manor, where you can round off this unforgettable evening relaxing to the unique sounds of Chester Zoo!
