The first event of the year is the Chester Food and Drink festival which takes place at Chester Racecourse at Easter. With almost 30,000 people attending it kicks off the food events in the county.
In June the Congleton Food Festival runs through the streets of this wonderful market town, with lots of local traders, events for kids and a great family feel it grows every year as people discover this special rural event.
Our nearby neighbours stage the Wirral Food Festival in August making a huge array of quality food events right across the spring, summer and autumn period.
Look out for the taste Cheshire pavilion at major events, like the Bolesworth International in June, the Cheshire Show, Cholmondeley Pageant of Power and Celebrate Cheshire, all major events that will be featuring Cheshire food producers to enhance your visitor experience.

Unfortunately this event has been CANCELLED. Food traders with chilli products, salsa dancing and a chilli quiz with prizes of meals at Nandos as well as the Arley Gardeners display of chilli plants.

The second Off Cut Folk n' Ale Festival gets underway against the idyllic backdrop of the Weaver Valley on Sunday 10th August.
Situated right in the centre of Congleton’s pedestrian shopping area, Congleton Artisan Market is a fabulous monthly event for the local community and for visitors from further afield.

The collection is planted through out our small plantsman’s garden (open for the NGS as well) providing visitors with ideas and inspiration for using these wonderful bee and butterfly attractors in their own gardens. Garden open from 2pm until 5pm.
Join the Rangers to hunt for mini-beasts in the park’s ponds and woodlands and take a trailer ride to get a close look at Tatton’s deer. Minimum age 5 years.

The Just So Festival is a boutique, weekend-long festival of creativity aimed at children, young people and their families. The 2014 festival will take place 15 -17 August 2014 at Rode Hall Parkland in Cheshire.
At Taste Cheshire Farmers Market some of the outstanding products offered by the traders include, Award winning sausages, Cheshire Artisan Cheeses, some of the best homemade pies you will find, Healthy luscious soups and more.
English Country Weekend. A terrific celebration of English country life. Visit the farm for a weekend of traditonal English fayre and fun. Take part in the egg and spoon race or show your strength in the Farm's tug of war.

Treacle Market is an eagerly awaited monthly event in the Macclesfield calendar which also attracts a loyal following of regular visitors from much further afield who love its unique ambience and 130+ stalls in and around the cobbled Marketplace.
The Nantwich Food and Drink Festival takes place over the first weekend in September each year in the historic market town of Nantwich, Cheshire.
