Free-motion Machine Embroidery Masterclass with Jo Hill.

This course will teach you how to use free-motion machine embroidery to create a cushion cover and is suitable for beginners and those who have been stitching for a while. All fabrics and cushion pads are provided. If you wish to incorporate a particular fabric bring a piece to match in with a room. You will need to bring a sewing machine but don’t worry if you haven’t got a machine to bring, you can hire one from Jo for an additional £5 – please let us know at the time of booking and we will add the fee to your payment.

You will also need to bring a general sewing kit and an embroidery hoop but can be provided if you don’t have one.

Jo Hill is a textile artist based in Stone. She exhibits and sells her work through the Gallery@12 art shop in Eccleshall and runs regular workshops in the Staffordshire area. Take a look at her website for more information and inspiration.

Bring your own packed lunch or use our fabulous tearoom. Coffee and tea will be provided throughout the day in the pavilion.
