Rooted in Roman mythology as the deity of forests, fields, and herds, this Faun has found herself trotting along a once roman landscape looking to charm the people with her love of the forest, music and dance.
Like all true fauns, her talent lies in brightening the heats of others, follow her glowing globe, join her in the dance to the sounds of her flute and allow her to lure you back into the cycles of nature and back to yourself, beneath the glow of the moon and her hypnotic hoop dance. All who come to see the Faun, should be prepared to dance and make merry.
The Faun is a half goat half human creature from Roman mythology and symbolises peace, abundance, fertility, creativity, and magic. Intrinsically intertwined with the natural world, these merry creatures would often appear playing their flutes and leading travellers astray into the forest to dance and play.
This is a promenade performance (starting at The Nest) that celebrates and incorporates #therovingmoon
