On 5 July 2018 the National Health Service will be 70 years old. To celebrate this milestone the museum will be hosting an exhibition featuring material from our archives and collections which will tell the story of Warrington’s changing healthcare services. The history of the main hospitals in the town such as Warrington Infirmary, Warrington General and Winwick Hospital will be featured, and visitors will have an opportunity to reminisce about time spent either using the NHS services or working for the organisation.
If you have any memories you’d like to share with us please contact Hannah White, Collections Assistant: 01925 442015 or x-hwhite@culturewarrington.org
