About Us

Located in the heart of the historic city of Chester, close to all its facilities and attractions, The Townhouse Chester has been beautifully refurbished and its fine original features have been enhanced by stylish, contemporary twists and an interior designer’s fastidious eye for detail, plus it’s pet friendly too!

Each of the 19 individual rooms within the townhouse come with en-suite shower rooms, deep mattresses with crisp white linen, fluffy towels, flat-screen tv’s, bottled water, biscuits and luxury room amenities. There are 11 annexe rooms all offering the same comforts but in a modern purpose built environment ideal for a business stay over. 

Also on offer is the Amphitheatre Apartment, a luxurious two - bedroom apartment with all the modern conveniences that you may need.  The two bedrooms can be set up as King size doubles, or should you need the second bedroom can also be a twin.  This is the ideal location for a longer break or those looking to cater for themselves or be together as a family. 

Not forgetting The Roman Vault Party Pad, Chester’s first Party Pad, which can sleep up to 9 guests. The Pad comes equipped with beauty bar with hair dryers and straighteners, karaoke and colour changing lighting system, large TV screen and en-suite bathroom ensuring you have everything you need for an unforgettable party at a luxury hotel!

1699 Brasserie is a fully licensed bar & Restaurant with outside terrace, which is the perfect location for a glass of wine, coffee, afternoon tea or lunch.
