The Bolesworth Estate has been under the careful stewardship of The Barbour family since 1856 and is a fabulous example of rural diversification. The estate is home of 150 residential properties and a similar number of commercial enterprises including iconic The Ice Cream Farm based just outside Tattenhall.
Bolesworth hosts the Dodson & Horrell Bolesworth International Horse Show which is a thrilling five days of world-class equestrian sport.
A key date in the equestrian calendar, the 2021 show will bring top class sporting action and superb hospitality, all in the stunning setting of the Estate.
This show is also home to the Bolesworth Super Elite Yearling Auction, showcasing a selection of the world’s best Yearling’s by exceptional stallions out of world class black type dam lines.
The Bolesworth team also produce the Liverpool International Horse Show, a truly spectacular indoor event.
This 4 day equestrian and family event in Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena starts as it means to go on, with fantastic New Year’s Eve celebrations. Boasting elite showjumping, family entertainment, live music and breath-taking acts, the show makes a great day and evening out for guests of all ages.
Following its inaugural success in 2019, the Al Shira’aa Bolesworth British Young Horse Championships returns to the estate for a third year. The 5-day event will feature some of the very best young horses from all over Britain, travelling to Cheshire to prove their jumping prowess. The show is also home to their Super Elite Foal Auction.
