Chester Heritage Festival returns to the streets, buildings and open spaces of the city from 21st to the 29th. Events tell the story of our city and its people and, this year, many have a waterways theme, telling the stories of the River Dee and Chester’s canal.
Enjoy performances, exhibitions, walks, talks and more; bring along younger family members to a host of activities; try out new events and some favourites from previous Festivals. Find details of all events and activities below. Festival booklets are available at the Visitor Information Centre, the Grosvenor Museum, and other outlets around Chester. There have been some amendments and updates since the booklet’s publication. These and others will be added below as necessary, so do check back later.
