Autumn in Knutsford is gorgeous. You can walk across the leaf strewn Heath or Moor and even  enjoy the (free!) produce from Cross Town Community Orchard.

Pumpkin Path October 31st sees King Street and Wallwood come alive with stunning decorations in each shop window, ghosts and ghouls across the path will greet you as families hunt for pumpkins. Do the trail or just pop down and enjoy the atmosphere.

The town’s bee trail, launched in May, is the perfect way to discover the town’s more hidden paths. A 5km self-guided walk that takes you past well-known spots like the Heath and Crosstown Community Orchard, as well as hidden gems such as College Wood and St John’s Wood, all while learning about these essential pollinators.

Light up Knutsford – Saturday 15th November

The excitement begins in Canute Place at 4:00 PM with entertainment from Silk FM, local school choirs, and musicians. The Santa parade will commence at 6:00pm outside The Lost and Found, leading to the grand light switch-on at 6:30pm.

Independent Christmas Markets (November 29th & 30th) 

Avoid the 'cut and paste' feeling of big city markets! Our popular two-day Christmas markets take place along Princess Street, Silk Mill Street, and the middle section of King Street, focusing on quality products from independent sellers alongside delicious food and drink. Shopping here and at Knutsford’s wonderful independent shops ensures you’ll find truly unique and thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list.

Worried about parking?

King Street and Tatton Street car park will remain open throughout our Christmas markets. There is a park and ride running throughout the weekend from Booths park (WA16 8GS) to the bus shelter by Booths supermarket. Sponsored by Bruntwoods, the bus is free although donations will be accepted by Knutsford Hosts who help run this essential service. Of course, you can always take the train!
