Browns at The Mere sits at the heart of The Mere Golf Resort & Spa. A haven of a hideaway nestled by the Mere Lake and surrounded by the stunning Cheshire countryside. Named after Max Brown, who became legendary at The Mere for his magnetic charm and innate passion for exemplary service, his spirit is echoed in the food, the service standards and the highly memorable guest experience.

Whether you’re dining for pleasure or business, an indulgent family feast or a cosy evening for two, Browns offers a warm welcome, a luxury experience and a passion for fine dining.

The atmosphere is one of calm, serenity, luxury on the eye and indulgence on the taste buds. At Browns the food does the talking. With two AA rosettes, their "Nature to plate” philosophy ensures they use only the freshest seasonal ingredients, simply prepared and without too much fuss. Dishes look refined, and the flavours are instantly recognisable. Their passion for fresh ingredients means they consistently strive to support local Cheshire suppliers. They’ve also created their very own orchard bearing fruits, trees, nuts and berries, plus resident bee hives are busy making honey for the summer.

Sophisticated and relaxed, Browns Bar offers a modestly lit lounge area to enjoy a delicious cocktail, before or after your meal.
