Tatton Park
Tatton Park
Tatton Park is a stunning historic estate in the heart of Cheshire, spanning over 1,000 acres of sweeping parkland where deer freely wander. The estate boasts an elegant 18th-century mansion, home to the well-traveled Egerton family's treasured collections. Visitors can explore the servant’s quarters, revealing how culture and innovation shaped daily life.
The estate’s 50 acres of beautifully fragrant, formal gardens have evolved over 300 years, offering a journey around the world—from the structured elegance of traditional designs to the symbolic harmony of the Japanese Garden.
Families will love the adventure play area and the working farm, which holds rare breed accreditation. Alongside farmyard animals, visitors can meet farmworkers past and present and enjoy seasonal demonstrations that bring to life a special ‘field to fork’ story.
With over 100 events, workshops, and hands-on activities each year, there’s always something new and exciting to discover at Tatton Park. Whether you're a history enthusiast, nature lover, or looking for a fun family day out, this magnificent estate has something for everyone.
