Set in magnificent parklands, the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park (22nd-26th July 2015) is a celebration of the best in gardening with a vibrant carnival atmosphere. A spectacular day out, not just for plant lovers, but for friends and family too.

This year at the RHS Tatton Park, Cheshire’s Gardens of Distinction have joined together to create Cheshire's Carnival of Gardens with eight of Cheshire's Gardens showcasing their talents, and three of these competing as Back to Backs. Last year the Cheshire’s Carnival of Gardens won Best Show Feature 2014 and we are set to compete again with Adlington Hall, Cholmondeley Castle Gardens and Fryer’s Roses creating incredible Back to Back gardens.

We have been following their progress and can’t wait to see the final results!

Inspiration for the Gardens of Distinction has come from a wide range of places. Adlington Hall is recreating their Hermit’s Garden, following the tradition of accommodating a hermit in the Wilderness Garden at Adlington Hall; you will be allowed and encouraged to walk on the grass and touch the plants in Bluebell Cottage Gardens’ feature; Cheshire Gardens Trust will simply show how lost gardens can be preserved; Cholmondeley Castle Gardens have drawn inspiration from both Shakespeare’s play ‘A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream’ and the natural and ancient landscape of Cholmondeley; there will be rosy hues at Fryer’s Roses with a timeless and contemporary garden offering a place to study and relax; Ness Botanic Gardens will be showcasing plants from the sunflower family; Norton Priory Museum & Gardens have tried to capture the essence of their gardens with wildlife friendly herbaceous plants and herbs; finally, there will be historical herbs with a modern twist with Reaseheath College.

Make sure you visit us at stand 161, where you can pick up some great hints and tips from some of Cheshire's most beautiful gardens.

You can buy your tickets online here or in person at the Visitor Information Centre in Chester. See you there!
