Immediately through the large gates of Tatton’s impressive estate we came across the large deer in the fields standing beautiful, and roaming freely among the 1000 acres of fields. After getting out of the car we walked up to the Classical Mansion. It was breath-taking. It was magnificent; all the luxurious furnishings were exactly how they would have been hundreds of years ago, making it an amazing stately home experience.

After taking in all the traditional features, I made my way to the gardens outside the property. They were vast and full of colour as the mansion stood proudly over them. It was like something I’ve only seen on TV or film!

To the farm where all different farm animals roamed – pigs, donkeys, Cows – is a perfect opportunity for children to experience historical rural life! I then moved over to the stables which were very nice and traditional and rich in history. There was a place to grab some yummy food and drink; including ice cream for #perfectcheshire hot days! There were a few little shops at the stables to buy candles and produce from the park.

I then went on a little walk around the park. There was a large play park perfect for children of many ages up to twelve. The park was very well kept and there was hardly any litter on site. I really enjoyed Tatton Park and I thought that there was a perfect balance between the traditional history and making it modern for families of all ages; there was something for everyone!
