With Halloween now behind us, it’s time to take down the skeleton decorations and brace ourselves for autumn. This autumn, discover the treasures of Blakemere Village, uncover the magical creatures of the Ness Botanical Gardens, or become mesmerised by lights in the sky. Whether you’re actually five years old, or just a five-year old at heart, these events are sure to bring you laughter and joy.

Zombie Pirate Treasure Trail Until November 5th, you and your family can uncover the treasures left by zombie pirates at Blakemere Village. Travel through the Zombie Pirate Treasure Trail and battle the pirates that lurk inside. If you make it to the end, you are sure to be handsomely rewarded. Come dressed up as a pirate to enhance your experience and be sure to get the loot before someone else does.

Autumn Fun at Ness Botanical Gardens As an embodiment of the UK’s national treasures, Ness Botanical Gardens is a wonderful place to watch the leaves change colour. Stroll through the gardens while your kids run through the grass labyrinth or play with the chickens. Until November 5th, you can even partake in some magical fun as you explore the Spooky Tree Trail and encounter man-eating plants, talking trees, and fantasy creatures.

Family Tree Opening at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Christmas comes early this year to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet. On November 10th, you can celebrate fall with the coming of Christmas at the outlet’s Family Tree Opening. From 4:30 – 8pm, children can meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus or decorate Rudolph cookies in the Claus’ cookie shop. There will be live performances from Chester Zoo’s lively characters and if you love dogs, be sure to come early and stop by the Radley store from 12-4pm to meet some of the Radley dogs.

Bonfire and Fireworks Display Celebrate the start of autumn with a spectacular fireworks display in Blakemere Village on November 4th. Gates open at 6pm and there will be a bonfire lit at 6:30. Kick back and relax with some refreshments as you watch the night sky light up at 7:30pm. The illuminating show will be sure to get you in the autumn spirit. With everything to do this autumn, you’re sure to find something for the entire family to enjoy. All you have to do is get out there and have fun.
