Easter half-term is a great time to visit Chester Zoo. Spring is in the air and the zoo is buzzing with excited children and adults alike! Not only can your little ones make the most of the many PLAY! activities but there is also an extra layer of fun to be had with the special Easter Stories! activities happening all around the zoo.

So, let’s start with PLAY! Make sure you look out for the colourful PLAY! boards around the zoo, where little people can take advantage of a skipping lane, balance like a monkey or stomp like an elephant, plus many more. We love these much-needed reminders to slow down, stop and PLAY! After all that’s what a family day out is all about!

Now let’s move onto all the MANY additional Easter Stories! events taking place this half-term. Here is a short clip of the ‘The Orangutang’ - a search for survival through the trees. Watch and listen as we were transported to the rainforests of Borneo to experience a day in the life of an orangutan!

Set on ‘Islands' and accompanied by the famous Hallé Orchestra, this immersive family fun event is part of the many special PLAY! Stories taking place this half-term. Why not try the Giraffe’s Dance Workshop, sing along stories, little monkeys morning stories?

There’s also a really cool ‘What the Ladybird Heard on Holiday trail’ to take around the zoo!

Feeling inspired? Visit the website for details of daily fun events taking place this half-term.
