Santa in Cheshire

Santa will be visiting lots of places in Cheshire this Christmas, garden centres, attractions, town centres but he'll also be popping up in some unusual places. He will be leaving his sleigh behind to visit the animals at the zoo, ride a canal boat and journey through the woods. Find out more below:

The Lanterns at Chester Zoo

Head over to the Zoo after dark and encounter new fantastical and colourful worlds full of animal-inspired illuminations and traditional festive scenes that will leave you with a warm fuzzy-feeling inside. Whilst you meander through the zoo keep your eyes peeled for Santa, he could be just around the corner!


Christmas Woodland at Blakemere Village

Visit Blakemere Village and experience your panto, Christmas crafts and visit to Santa all rolled into one with their Christmas Woodland outdoor theatrical experience. With elves at the ready and woodland characters ready to greet visitors at every turn including Melody the Owl, Furball the Elf, Wiley the Fox, Jack Frost and a very busy Father Christmas in his sorting office, children will be truly mesmerised by their visit.

Santa Cruises at Anderton Boat Lift

For something a bit different why not come and meet Santa at Anderton Boat Lift, as he and his helpers board the Edwin Clark trip boat for a festive cruise on the River Weaver Navigation. Includes storytelling, songs and a special present for each child! Last few spaces available!


Christmas Cruises at National Waterway Museum

Father Christmas will be leaving his sleigh behind to set sail on a canal boat at the National Waterways Museum where you can join him for festive fun. After your trip along the Shropshire Union Canal, visit the beautiful Grotto, where there will be storytelling, plus a gift for every child to bring an enchanting start to Christmas.
