1. Immerse yourself in Christmas magic at Dunham Massey

One of Cheshire’s best loved festive light experiences is back. Christmas at Dunham Massey, the after dark, illuminated and immersive trail through nature has become an icon of the North West Christmas calendar. Brand new installations include giant, colour changing lilies and a multi-coloured, wooded laser garden, while the much-loved larger than life sparkly Dunham deer and an inviting tunnel of light return. 

2. Get festive at Gulliver’s World

Family favourite Gulliver’s World Resort Warrington are bringing Christmas to the park with a lot of magic. Look out for Elfie mischief, fairy fun and snowy surprises including festive rides and attractions for all the family, Santa in his Grotto, the North Pole Express, the magical Winter Wonderland, and the chance for children to choose their own gift from the Elf Workshop.

3. See the Mansion’s halls, decked

This year, Tatton Park are bringing a pantomime themed Christmas adventure to the historic Mansion. From the grandeur of the state rooms through to the servants' quarters look out for sleeping beauty and fly away to Neverland before looking up to Jack’s show-stopper beanstalk that’s taken over the Cupola Hall. Tinker Bell’s wings will make a great family photo and little ones can enjoy counting Dick Whittington’s cat. Plus, there’ll be sweet treats for everyone to enjoy!

4. See a true Chester spectacle

It’s parade season in Chester once again and these free events are not to be missed. Chester kicks off the festive season with the fantastic ‘12 Days of Christmas’ parade as it travels through the streets starting from Bridge Street. Full of music, lights, elves, real snow, and a few surprises!

5. Get ready for a Christmas extravaganza

Northwich will be abuzz this weekend at the Christmas Extravaganza comes back to town and there’s a lot on to get you into the festive spirit, all leading up to the lantern parade and light switch on. There's a whole host of completely events and activities for the whole family to enjoy as part of the Christmas Extravaganza including crazy golf, Christmas market, a circus, Christmas crafting, a Snow Experience, Christmas games, live music, and the ever-popular ice rink.
