Cheshire’s award-winning family attraction The Ice Cream Farm is gearing up for a busy Christmas of festive events at its Tattenhall site.
With a grotto and elves’ workshop, cookie making with Mrs Claus, as well as the launch of a new membership scheme, The Ice Cream Farm has created a schedule to suit all budgets.
“Listening to our customers it’s been clear that there have been mixed feelings over booking events this year,” said CEO Jonathan Fell. “Some have told us that after the past two Covid-19 Christmases they’re keen to make this Christmas extra special and go ‘all out’. While others have said they are really feeling the pinch and looking carefully at what they can book and how affordable it is.”
With that in mind, the team has created different events to suit a variety of budgets, as well as introducing a membership so that local people can have unlimited access to The Ice Cream Farm over winter for a one-off price - equivalent to three visits for four people.
“As parents of young children ourselves we understand that Christmas in particular can put a strain on the household budget. So we wanted to think of ways families could still come and enjoy The Ice Cream Farm and ‘set their own budget’ with us,” said General Manager Katie Lewis.
“As an example, visitors can book our Santa’s Grotto and the Elves’ Workshop experience, which is bigger and better than ever, including a gift, Christmas crafts, reindeer food making and an ice cream in a festive take-home mug. Or they could pop into Sticky Paws for cookie making with Mrs Claus for just £6 a child.”
At the world’s largest ice cream shop there are new flavours on the menu too, with some exclusives from Cheshire Farm Ice Cream - like Frozen, Cherry Amaretto, Maple & Pecan and Blackcurrant & White Choc Cheesecake - as well as Christmas Pudding, Chocolate Orange, Mince Pie and Baileys.
