Whether you’re already vegan, if you’re trying to reduce meat consumption or aiming to be more sustainable in the next year a plant-based diet is a great way to do just that! A plant-based diet could help reduce the amount of landfill used in agriculture and minimise greenhouse gas emissions by nearly half!
A plant-based diet isn’t just fruit and vegetables (although amazing things can be done with just that), with plant-based options growing by the day. Restaurants are creating innovative ways to allow people to lose the animal products and increase the flavour to ensure no one misses out on great tasting food!
Over the last few years more and more restaurants have introduced vegan menus and there are some great plant-based eateries around Cheshire. Chester was even awarded 2nd place for vegan eating out of 20 cities around the UK just behind Edinburgh. So why not use the new year to try out a plant-based diet; made all the easier with what’s on offer in Chester & Cheshire!
