Families will love spotting their favourite fairytale characters while visiting the Gardens and Farm this half term, from 15 February til 2 March (closed on Mondays).
From Rapunzel to Rumpelstiltskin…
Preparations are in full swing as staff and volunteers wave their magic wands to bring to life family favourites such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, using upcycled fabrics, props and wigs. Visitors can hunt for scarecrows and explore the Gardens as the foliage starts to wake up from its winter slumber. More scarecrows can be found at the Farm together with its rare breed animals, indoor playbarn and costumed characters.
Join us for ‘Tell a Fairytale Day’ and live happily ever after
The Festival runs for a second week after the schools return, a perfect time to visit with preschoolers. Why not bring little ones dressed up as their favourite fairytale character on national ‘Tell a Fairytale Day’, Wednesday 26 February.
