Springer Days at Gulliver's World
Days out designed for parents and toddlers from only £12 per person. Springer days are the perfect way to introduce your preschooler to theme park rides and attractions. Springer tickets are available for selected dates in June and July, look out for red days on our opening calendar. Selected rides and attractions will be operational on these special dates, see below for details.

Group Bookings and Guided tours available midweek.
These bookings and tours have exclusive viewing of the venue, different from the usual Sunday & Monday open days. If booked with a guided tour, there is more opportunity for groups to learn the history of Capesthorne Hall and have someone knowledgeable on hand if any questions arise. The bigger the group the better value the trip, so it could be a perfect opportunity for organisations, coach tours, school groups, university groups etc to have a great trip out with fantastic value for money.
Admission tickets to Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre are valid for a month for unlimited free return visits. Great for families on a budget who can return for free. Also useful if your visit is cut short due to bad weather!
There is lots to see with 20 Shires including 4 foals. Also otters, red foxes, Scottish wildcats, owls and red squirrels.

Gladfest is back!
This is the premier event in the Gladstone’s Library calendar and the UK’s friendliest literary festival. There are no green rooms, no VIP seats and no golden circles – just brilliant and accessible author events held in a beautiful Victorian setting.
Join us for activities, talks, book signings, poetry readings, food, drink and fun: perfect for avid readers, writers and fans of a good story. Watch livestreamed events for £5 or take part in person for £10 on Friday 9th September and Saturday 10th September.
Speakers include authors Natasha Pulley (The Watchmaker of Filigree Street), Francesca Haig (The Cookbook of Common Prayer) and Deba Talkhani (My Past is a Foreign Country). The neo-Victorian Library based in Hawarden is open to visitors to the grounds as usual: it is free to visit the building, though the Reading Rooms will be accessible to talk ticketholders only.

The gardens and courtyard kitchen are also open alongside the Farmers' Market on the first Saturday of each month. The courtyard kitchen offers a selection of homemade cakes, lunches & teas and coffees using produce from our kitchen garden here at Rode. Gluten free, vegan and dairy free options are also available.
