Explore the canal towpath, wildflowers and historic Rode Hall

This route, devised by Alsager Chamber of Trade, is one a series of walks in the Alsager area. The walks have been published in leaflets entitled ‘It’s all about Alsager - Walking Maps of Alsager’.

Canal transport was once the mainstay of our industry and now a source of leisure offering pleasant, off-road walking and cycling routes. Rode Hall has been in the ownership of the Wilbraham’s family since 1669. Now you can visit the hall, gardens and spectacular snowdrops in early spring.
