From M6, jct 17 turn right following signs to Crewe and Nantwich. Pass a petrol station on your left and continue straight on. Pass straight through a set of traffic lights and arrive at a roundabout. Take the first exit following signs for Crewe and Nantwich onto the A534.
Continue straight on the A534 passing over 1 roundabout, continuing to follow signs for Crewe and Nantwich. Arrive at a major traffic light controlled roundabout. Take the 3rd exit continuing on the A534 following signs to Crewe. Continue straight on along the A534 following signs for Crewe, passing straight over a small roundabout, Crewe Business Park on the left, and Manchester Metropolitan University on the right.
Arrive at a second major traffic light controlled roundabout adjacent to a major DIY superstore. Take the 2nd exit onto the A534 signposted Nantwich, and continue along this road for 10 minutes passing Crewe station on the left, a supermarket express store and petrol station together on the right.
Arrive at a major roundabout by a pub and small lodge hotel and take the 3rd exit onto the A51 following signs for Chester. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit turning right onto Middlewich Road. Alvaston Hall Hotel is approximately ½ mile on the left.
