Amazing things to do this June

This June there are some amazing things to do in Chester & Cheshire.

Chester Zoo is always an amazing place to visit but this Summer something different is happening. You will be able to experience a whole new dimension to the UK's best Zoo, as talented artists, landscape designers, scientists and entertainers collaborate to transform some of your favourite spaces around the zoo into unique Wild Worlds.

Another amazing thing to do in Chester, and a must, in our opinion, is a leisurely sail on the beautiful River Dee. ChesterBoat Cruises take place every day in the summer, what better way to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city.

This June Chester and Cheshire will be buzzing with an amazingly varied calendar of events. For those who are interested in Chester's history and heritage, Chester Heritage Festival returns with over 50 events including exhibitions, guided walks, events for the family, lots of FREE events and more. Not only this, Chester Mystery Plays returns. An amazing and historic community theatre event, which takes place only every five years, so catch it while you can.

For something completely different, visit the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show with World Class Dressage, Show jumping, kids activities, fun fair, Freestyle Motocross & bike displays, Dog Show, & much more or the ever popular Royal Cheshire Show, which is always a fabulous day out.

Some of Cheshire's towns play host to come of the counties biggest and most popular events this month with Macclesfield's Barnaby Festival and Middlewich's FAB Festival to name a few.

Some of Cheshire's top attractions have got in on the action and are hosting some great events too this month. Arley Hall & Gardens once again, open their doors for their annual Garden Festival and DogFest, hosted by Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick, comes to Cholmondeley Castle, the paw-fect event to get your dog's tail wagging, providing a fun-filled, action packed day out they'll never forget!
