Discover the secrets of this hidden gem, nestled in the suburbs just outside of Chester. With an abundance of wild flowers in its meadows and its sections of ancient hedgerows, Caldy Valley Nature Park is a beautiful oasis in which to while away an afternoon.

Whilst wandering along the babbling brook which weaves through the valley, why not stop for a game of Pooh sticks on Wooden Bridge? The pond is a perfect place to stop for a picnic, and maybe even feed the ducks. Afterwards see if you can spot the four sculptures dotted around the park? Keep your eyes peeled for water voles, herons and hedgehogs!

The active Friends group organise events and activities throughout the year including practical tasks on the third Wednesday of each month.
