Nestled in the heart of Cheshire with surrounding countryside Cheshire Falconry houses over 60 trained birds of prey that can be experienced in a number of ways.
Open 7 days a week the centre offers a number of different experiences that enable guests to get hands on with and fly magnificent birds of prey free in their beautiful surroundings in Sandiway, near Northwich. Ranging from half hour experiences for children to hour long family sessions and three and six hour adult only sessions where a variety of different species of raptor may be flown from amongst the smallest to the largest including magnifcent eagles. These sessions are by appointment only but Cheshire Falconry are sometimes able to accommodate guests for these sessions at 24 hours notice. Many people choose to purchase one of the Gift Vouchers that can be given allowing the recipient to arrange their own appointment for the Experience.
For day visitors the aviaries are open from 10am - 4.30pm 7 days a week, 360 days per year.
Throughout the summer months (Easter-end August) there are daily flying demonstrations of a selection of their trained birds of prey at 1pm and 3pm. Admission charges apply for both.
Cheshire Falconry is a leading supplier of educational visits to schools (KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4 aslo special needs) and offers a number of different options for public falconry displays. Popular for weddings where they entertain any number of guests and even arrange for rings to be delivered to the best man by a hawk or owl!

Directions
Road Directions
From the South. Leave M6, jct 19 and follow A49/A556 to Sandiway. Look for a left turn into Blakemere Village just before the crossroads with the A49 (there is a large shell petrol station at this junction)
From the North. Pass over the Thelwall viaduct and take the second exit after this towards the M56 North Wales and Chester. Take Junction 10 off the M56 signposted Whitchurch and take the A49 towards Whitchurch. Stay on this road until you reach the crossroads with the A556. Turn left at these traffic lights (there is a large shell petrol station at this junction) and take your first right into Blakemere Village. We are located on this site adjacent to the main car park.
