Nelstrops have been making the finest quality flours in Cheshire for over 190 years - since 1820.
A sixth generation family miller based in Stockport, the flours have traditionally only been available to Craft Bakers and Chefs in large sacks, but they are now being made available to home bakers for the first time in smaller retail size bags.
Using only the finest quality wheats, including from many Cheshire farmers, the generations of Nelstrop family and millers make only the finest quality flours.
Nelstrops are proud that this year, their flours have been awarded in the highest category of Great Taste Awards with two 3 star GOLD awards for their ‘Tasty Seeds and Grains flour’ and ‘Malted Toasty flour’ - the only 3 star GOLD awards in the North West.
We are approaching new retailers all the time but currently, our flours can be found at Kenyon Hall farm shop near Warrington, Back's Deli and The Ash Tea Rooms in Stockport and Martin's Bakery in Newton Heath.
