Discover more than just Romans in Deva Roman Discovery Centre.
Deva Roman Discovery Centre is a Roman attraction worthy of Britain’s most Roman of cities – a destination for the city to be proud of revealing its fascinating past.
You can expect Roman soldiers and a self guided tour but also experience plenty of hands-on activities, new interactive displays, activities for families and show-stopping light and sound projections designed to recreate the past and explain history as you have never seen it before bringing shadows to life!
Not forgetting the visible archaeological remains which are the best to be found anywhere in the North West, encompassing not only a series of impressive Roman structures but a complete timeline of activity stretching over 2000 years.
Tickets can be bought at www.devaromancentre.co.uk – booking isn’t essential, last entry is 5pm. See website for details of further events and activities including Roman Solider walking tours of the city centre.
