Our course was designed by Donald Steel, the celebrated golf architect, as an enjoyable challenge for players of all abilities.

At Eaton we are very proud of our golf course often praised for its immaculate presentation and the challenge of its contoured greens built to USGA standards, which are fast, firm, and true. At 6,580 yards (par 72) for men and 5,642 yards (par 73) for women, the course offers a balanced test which will stretch the better player whilst remaining fully playable for those of more modest ability. We are very proud of the introduction in 2011 of our BLACK course Par 72, SSS 73 - 6714yards which provides a more serious challenge to low handicap golfers. We are delighted that we have been chosen to host Cheshire Strokeplay Championships 2013.

Eaton is a warm and friendly "members run" golf club comprising of the normal golfing sections. It has a limited number of 600 members which affords them the luxury of not needing to book tee times, other than in exceptional circumstances.

Located some four miles from the historic city of Chester and with extensive views of Cheshire and North Wales, Eaton Golf Club offers a wide range of high quality facilities for our members and the many visitors taking part in our Opens, society events, corporate days, charity days or just visit for a day's golf

Beautifully situated beside the Shropshire Union Canal, it features a wealth of mature oaks, a picturesque brook and several ponds and copses, all of which add to the golfing challenge and provide rich habitats for wildlife in abundance – hares, foxes, swans and now barn owls!

With panoramic views across the 18th green and the countryside beyond, the stylish Clubhouse has everything you could wish for. The Spike Bar is an informal venue while the elegant yet comfortable Lounge is the perfect place to relax after a round. Our renowned catering offers good honest home-cooked fare whether it be a bar snack, a simple finger buffet or banqueting for up to 100 people.
