Theatre company Against The Grain presents "The Weir" by Conor McPherson Set in a pub in a remote part rural Ireland, The Weir tells the story of a group of locals who over the course of an evening, sit, drink and tell tall tales. Their comfortable routine is disrupted by the arrival of an attractive newcomer with her own eerie tale to tell. The Weir is a beautifully crafted play which draws upon Irish Folklore and the supernatural with a pint or two of Guinness and Irish humour thrown in for good measure.
