About Us

An audience of thousands, young and old, partied at the mighty eye on the sky, which captured the first images of the surface of the moon when Apollo 11 touched down in 1969. Kraftwerk and the Radio Science Orchestra, mind-expanding talks from astronaut Helen Sharman, theoretical physicist Prof Jim Al-Khalili were part of the exciting programme, as well as stargazing, science shows, experiments, and galactic games. Whether you come for the day or camp (or glamp) and make this mission control for the weekend, one thing’s for sure, bluedot promises to be out of this world next year, too.
