Chester Castle Open Event

Come and join us for a rare opportunity to see inside Chester Castle. English Heritage will be bringing the story of the castle to life with our knowledgeable volunteers highlighting aspects of medieval life.

Entrance via the Crown Court Car Park.

From the City Walls and River, follow the walk around to Grosvenor Road. Walk through the Castle Gateway Arch and the entrance is via a gateway to the right of the Crown Court.

From the City Centre, enter the Crown Court Car Park next to the Military Museum. Walk straight across the car park and the entrance to the castle is in the far left hand corner.
