About Us

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and set sail on the River Dee. Choose a Half-Hour City Cruise to see Chester's stunning riverside houses and hear about our rich Roman, medieval, and industrial heritage. Or leave the city behind on a tranquil Two-Hour Iron Bridge Cruise through the green fields of the Duke of Westminster's estate and up to Aldford Iron Bridge – keep a look out for kingfishers!

Half-Hour City Cruises depart at least every hour 16 February – 3 November, and selected weekends in winter. Last sailing is 5pm during British Summer Time and 4pm at other times. *

*Sailings are twice-hourly from 11:00am to 5:00pm. From Monday 24 June to Friday 28 June, receive a £1 discount on the standard quayside prices of £7.50 adults and £7 concessions (students & 60+), on production of the Heritage Festival booklet. This offer is valid for groups of up to eight.

Two-Hour Iron Bridge Cruises depart twice daily 27 – 31 May and 1 July – 8 September, weekends only in June and September, and on other selected weekdays. See online for available dates.
