About Us

Water supply in the Chester area from Roman times (of course - its Chester!) and onwards through the centuries: this digital slide presentation will be given by Tim Ackerley and look at the history of drinking water in Chester.  Enjoy a glass of wine, or water, after the talk.

The venue for this Chester Heritage Festival event is Bishop Lloyd’s Palace, which is accessed from Row level and then via a flight of stairs.   

Guide Prices

Tickets cost £6 and should be purchased in advance. To book and pay by debit or credit card follow the link above. Alternatively, you can book via the Chester Heritage Festival office, at The History Hub @ The Grosvenor Museum, Monday to Friday 10:30 to 17:00, by phone: 01244 972115 or in person and pay by cheque or cash.
