About Us

Ann Marie Curtis of the St. Werburgh’s Great War Study Group will give a talk about how Belgian Refugees, Australian Munitions Workers and American Servicemen integrated into Chester life during the Great War.  There will also be static displays providing further information about the Study before and after her talk.

This is the second event during Chester Heritage Festival presented by St. Werburgh’s Great War Study Group.  The first, Chester 1918 & The Story of Joseph Chambers, a talk by Gerard Tighe, is at 15:00 on Sunday 24 June.
