Join the National Trust team this Christmas at Little Moreton Hall, as they step back in to the past and celebrate traditions old and new. Staff and volunteers will be decorating different rooms of the hall to transport visitors to Christmas past, from Tudor to present day, all within a simple step.
‘We are thrilled that Christmas is returning to Little Moreton Hall this December, and we hope you can join us this festive season to make some lasting memories with family and friends,’ Kate Picker, Experience and Visitor Programming Manager at the hall.
Discover the hall like never before as you travel through Christmas past, without the need for a time machine! The team warmly welcome you to suspend reality and step back in time with them from 11am – 4pm from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th, Friday 9th – Sunday 11th and Friday 16th – Sunday 18th December. Last entry to the hall at 3.30pm. Visitors to the hall on weekends will not only be entertained by jovial jesters but will also be treated to the musical talents of either Merrie Noyse or Piva; groups of performers who bring the music of the past to life.
Normal admission charges apply; National Trust members go free when presenting their membership card.
For all those last-minute stocking fillers, head to Little Moreton Hall’s pre-loved bookshop to discover classic volumes, colourful children’s tales, modern fiction and vintage treasures. Take home something new (to you) to keep or to lovingly wrap up for friends or family this Christmas.
After you’ve journeyed from the 16th century all the way back to present day, reward yourself with a well-deserved warm brew and delicious treat in the cosy tea-rooms.
Leave the hustle and bustle behind and escape to the higgledy-piggledly hospitality of the hearty hall. Wrap up warm, bring some festive cheer and make a new Christmas tradition with the team at Little Moreton Hall.
