About Us

Chester’s Waterways and Bridges: The history of the River Dee and the Chester Canal feature in many of this year’s festival events. This exhibition by Chester Photographic Survey and Chester Canal Heritage Trust illustrates the stories that will unfold.

Chester’s Conservation Area: celebrating the 50th anniversary of Chester’s first conservation area. Further information about Chester’s Conservation area is currently on display in St Michaels Row in the Grosvenor Shopping Centre.

Chester’s Past: rolling film of Chester from the time of the Romans to World War 2, through digital reconstruction, by Take 27 Ltd.

The Wesley is also the venue for a talk on Thursday 27 June, Chester Bridges, which will be illustrated by images from the Festival Exhibition.  Earlier, on Saturday 22 June, the history of the Wesley Church and its Organ will be told in the exhibition venue.
