This fabulous family event will take place on 3rd & 4th July 10am - 6pm, at Arley Hall Gardens, the Perfect Spot for Soaking Up Sunshine & Enjoying Amazing Food. It is also famous for being the setting for the award-winning TV show Peaky Blinders.
Indian Summer Festival is about spending time with family and friends in the great British outdoors, with amazing food, outstanding entertainment, trendy bars and an entirely dedicated Kids zone. The Festival will feature the Khanawala Street – a food extravaganza with 7 stalls selling Indian Street Food. This totally unique series of Indian style food stalls will transport our visitors from the beautiful gardens of Arley Hall to the tastes and aromatic fragrances of Deli and Mumbai with 7 totally different Indian inspired street food stalls to discover. The UK has never seen anything like it before and we are so excited to be the first to share it with you!
With this being a family event we have created the world's first “Kidchella” – a whole zone of the festival entirely dedicated to children, packed full of activities and entertainment.
What to expect at Arley Hall this July:
There is no doubt Khanawala is the star of the food show with 7 sumptuous Indian food stalls to choose from, it is what we call a CHAT PATTA – a flavour bomb! Boasting everything from Kebabs, Wraps and Bhangra Burgers to authentic Indian curries and snacks. For the less adventurous diner, less spicy fare can be found at the Artisan food stalls in the market, showcasing traditional street food such as Stone-Baked Pizza, Banging Burgers, Churros & Chocolate...food heaven for all! Adults can also enjoy the Cocktail van, Gin bar and a Cobra beer stand.
MASTI @ KIDCHELLA
Masti - meaning Fun, can be found at the heart of our Kidchella Children's zone. Kidchella will offer something for even the most discerning little adventurer to enjoy. Toddlers and Preschoolers can play in the giant sandpit, laugh with friends on fair rides. or say hello to furry friends at THE DONKEY SANCTUARY. For the older children they can dive into our NACH (dance) classes, pick up some new skills from the fabulous CIRCUS SENSIBLE team or explore the thrill of the Fun Fair.
TAMASHA (LIVE ENTERTAINMENT)
In India, a fabulous performance or show is known as TAMASHA. Why not begin your Indian Summer experience with a FREE Yoga class. These will be available throughout the day along with Crystal Healing where you can finally find your inner Zen. Enjoy the sounds of our Indian Drummer band and the sensational Mr Wilsons who will be performing throughout the Festival.
