About Us

Jodrell Bank's popular Introduction to Astrophotography workshops are returning this winter with four new dates to choose from.

Join us at one of our informal and fun sessions that include an introductory workshop presented by Jodrell Bank Observatory's Dr. Ant Holloway, along with a chance for you to try out your equipment and talk to our knowledgeable team.

You'll learn how to apply your DSLR or Compact System Camera to get started in Astrophotography. You'll also discover how you can use simple equipment such as a tripod, to capture different images of the night sky, from planets and constellations to the colours of stars and star trails.

Tea and coffee will be provided and, in the case of cloudy skies, you will still be able to try out your equipment in our Inflatable Planetarium.

Tickets: £32.50/£29.50 (10% discount for Annual Pass holders)
