This 4 mile walk features the Llangollen Canal and the Hurleston Locks. Boots will be the best footwear, and bring waterproofs if showers are forecast. Please arrive at 10.45 am for a 11.00 start and look for the damson Toyota.
If you will be using a map first find Nantwich in Cheshire, then Barbridge a few miles north west. The walk starts at the Barbridge Inn car park in Old Chester Road. Grid Ref: SJ 615 567. If you are using a SatNav, enter the post code CW5 6AY or the co-ordinates: 53.10658, 002.57599
Toilet facilities should be available, there will be a break for 'Bring your own refreshments' and the walk will end with an optional pub lunch. If you wish to stay for lunch please phone 01270 528327 and book your own table for 1.15 pm. All walks are open to members and non-members alike so please bring along your friends and relatives.
