The Silk Museum launches its season of Handmade Holidays this November with an uplifting programme of music, making and giving ahead of Christmas.
There will be lots of opportunities to make special gifts this season as part of the museum's handmade holidays, looking at ways to create, reuse and recycle.
We have workshops on how to make ceramic decorations for your tree, on jewellery making, and on making metal embossed decorations
In the run up to the holidays the Silk Museum will be buzzing with activity for families too. We know how little ones love the anticipation of Christmas and there will be plenty to keep them occupied.
The museum will also be welcoming the really little ones for Pre-school Christmas craft sessions where the one to four year olds can have a go at making cards and decorations.
The gift shop is open and stocked with an amazing assortment of jewellery, cards and craft materials by Cambridge Imprint as well as our own Paradise range of silk goods produced in house.
