The Williamson Art Gallery hosts an exhibition of work by members of the North Wales Society of Fine Art. The gallery is open Wednesday-Sunday 10am-5pm and entry is free.

The Society was established in 1990 by founder president Margaret Stevens. Its purpose was to encourage the promotion of botanical artwork across North Wales and into the North West of England. The Society has since thrived and evolved into a more eclectic mix of artists, who display a wide range of inspiration and ideas through diverse styles and media.

Artists invited to join the Society demonstrate both technical excellence and individual creativity in fine art. The subject matter varies from botanical, landscape, portraiture, still-life and wildlife. Media used include oil, acrylic, and watercolour paints, ink, pencil and pastels, textile artwork and sculpture.
