A fun-filled day across the town, with lots of free activities leading up to the Lantern Parade and light switch on. The daytime fun will begin at 11am, the lantern parade starts at around 5pm and the switch-on at 5:30pm, followed by a firework final shortly after.

Christmas Crazy Golf - FREE
On High Street just outside Barclays you'll find 9 holes of Christmas Crazy Golf, which you can play for free - booking is NOT required.
Funfair & Swing Grill
Shardlands Funfairs will rock up to Northwich once more, with a whole host of fairground rides to enjoy and if you're looking for a bratwurst... you're at the right place!
Christmas Craft Village - FREE
Wander along Witton Street and enjoy free arts and crafts sessions throughout the day, just come and along and join in (located near to the library).
Christmas Market
Take a trip to Apple Market Place to find this year's market. Browse more than 15 different stalls for some Christmas gift inspo, including sweet treats, clothing, jewellery and much more all available to purchase.
Christmas Games - FREE
Chuck Santa Down the Chimney, Elf on the Shelf Knockdown, Snowball Splat and Chuck a Pudding games will be free to play, and you'll even win a prize if you manage to achieve the games goal!
Santa's Sleigh - FREE
Santa has parked his sleigh at the top of Witton Street, with 4 Reindeer (props), you can take a seat and snap a precious memory.
Candy Cane Bridge & Penguins - FREE
After snapping a photo in Santa's sleigh, walk over the candy cane bridge and meet our family of penguins (props), if you time it just right you might feel like you're in the artic with our snow experience.
Glitter Artist - FREE
Head over to Kanya who have a glitter artist to glam you up before the big switch on, for free!
Santa's Grotto
The big man himself will be stopping by to bring joy to your young people, pre-book to avoid disappointment - www.npole.co.uk
Live Music
In Barons Square you'll find live music throughout the day, building up to the big switch on at around 5:30pm.
Lantern Parade & Switch On
Starting at Waitrose for around 5pm, a Lantern Parade will set off and make its way to Barons Square outside Asda. The Northwich Christmas lights will be switched on at around 5:30pm and a firework show will take place at around 6pm. As part of the switch on stage event, a BSL Intrepeter will be on hand, if you would like to be able to clearly see them, you can reserve a space in our BSL viewing zone here.
