Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park festival announces first names that will be joining the super star chef and his culinary friends on the tour in 2019.
Tom Kerridge – the UK’s favourite pub proprietor will be bringing his chef mates to the party for a relaxed and intimate gathering; supporting and celebrating local talent, as well as presenting some of the biggest names in food and music. At each venue, there’ll be Michelin-starred and award-winning pubs and restaurants serving tasting dishes showing their signature style. Every event will celebrate the very best food the country has to offer, combined with great live music, chef demonstrations, top quality shopping and other festival fun.
The pub line-up is looking better than ever with some stunning pubs including Kerridge’s two Michelin starred The Hand & Flowers and Michelin starred The Coach, plus new for 2019 highlights include; Heston Blumenthal’s The Hinds Head in Bray, The Beehive in Maidenhead, Claude Bosi’s Oyster Bar at Bibendum, The Blackbird in West Berkshire, Tommy Banks’ The Black Swan, Oldstead and new venue Roots, The Cross at Kenilworth, Jodie Kidd’s Half Moon Kirdford and Tim Allen’s Flitch of Bacon.
Due to popular demand returning pubs include; Jason Atherton’s Berners Tavern, Josh Eggleton’s The Pony & Trap, Andrew Pern’s The Star Inn, Michel Roux Jr.’s The Wigmore, Stephen Terry’s The Hardwick, James MacKenzie’s The Pipe & Glass, and the brilliant Italian cooking of Angela Hartnett’s Cafe Murano. A proper pub wouldn’t be complete without its live music, so you’re in for a treat. The first names announced include singer songwriters Jake Bugg and David Gray and internationally acclaimed British indie rock gods Kaiser Chiefs. Other chart topping singing sensations joining the tour include; Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), Soul II Soul Sound System, Will Young, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Razorlight, Gabrielle – line-up to date is listed per venue below.
