Chester BID will once again transform the former H&M unit in Chester’s Grosvenor Shopping Centre into a Narnia-inspired experience for Christmas 2022.

Manned by snow elves and other enchanted characters, families are promised an immersive wintery experience, which will lead children around uniquely decorated areas before meeting Santa himself.

Santa’s Enchanted Grotto will be open to the public from Friday, November 25th, from 10am and will run until Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th, at 3pm.

Each experience will last between 25-30 minutes and each child will receive a gift from Santa to go home with. SEN's and autism sessions will be run on December 2nd, 3rd, 10th, 16th and 19th, from 10am-11am. On Saturday, December 10th, the SEN session will be extended to 11.30am.

Chester BID is proud to announce the charity partner for 2022’s Santa’s Enchanted Grotto is Platform for Life, a Chester-based charity which offers local counselling and play therapy for families who would not otherwise be able to afford it.

Booking in advance is recommended for this experience due to its huge popularity.

A booking is required to visit Santa. We highly recommend that you pre book your visit online.
Bookings can be made on the day of your visit, subject to remaining availability.

Tickets are non-refundable. However, you can be assured that you will receive a full refund, with exception to the booking fee, if there is a requirement to cancel this event.

Each booking has a capacity of up to four children.

Friday 3 December 10am – 11am
Saturday 11 December 10am - 11am
Monday 20 December 10am – 11 am
