About Us

This year’s Annual Service of Remembrance at Chester Cathedral takes place on Sunday, November 10, and will be led by Lord Mayor Councillor Mark Williams.

He will be joined by other civic dignitaries and serving members of the Army, RAF and Navy and ex-members of the Armed Forces.

The service begins at 10am and will be followed by the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial, in the Garden of Remembrance outside the Cathedral, at 10.55am when wreaths will be laid.

A Military parade gets underway at 11.15am in St Werburgh Street before marching through the city centre streets and finishing in Northgate Street where the salute will be given outside the Town Hall.
